My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was initially cold, taking hours to warm up, and the lack of hot water was disappointing, making it impossible to shower. However, the room could accommodate 2 adults, 2 children, and a cot, which was good value for the money.

The location is decent, close to Melton Mowbray, but the bathroom had a bad smell. A notable positive is the proximity to the town for a cheap price.

The Rafee offers massive rooms for the price paid, though there was a delay in getting hot water which was disappointing. The mix-up of bed sizes was inconvenient but didn’t ruin the stay. Service was efficient and easy to reach destinations. However, some sanitary concerns were noted in the dining area. The location is a bit out of the way for main towns, but close to the A46.
